Description
During Bergen 10 Kunst Daagse, I open the exhibition space for a rare evening where art, food, and plants weave together.
The Nature Dinner is part exhibition, part ritual, part shared table. Each of the 4 courses is crafted from local and medicinal plants, chosen for their flavour and stories, their ancient uses, healing properties, colours, and the way they connect us back to the land. Every bite carries a fragment of history, folklore, and future possibility.
The meal is served on handmade ceramic works, vessels shaped for this exhibition. Each plate, bowl, and cup is as much a piece of the artwork as the food it holds, revealing the dialogue between earth, hand, and table.
This dinner is designed as a living artwork, intimate, sensorial, and conversational. Guests are invited to taste, listen, and wonder together, discovering how plants move across worlds: from soil to body, pigment to clay, medicine to memory.
Seats are very limited. The evening takes place in the exhibition space in Bergen during the 10 Kunst Daagse, and will last around three hours including food, drinks, and shared reflection.
